I’m Gift FX Matlala, a Creative Director and Motion Designer with over 12 years of experience crafting cinematic visuals, CGI and digital experiences for brands across South Africa. And before you ask: the FX stands for “Effects”, NOT Forex. Google it. I’m serious, it really means effects.
I believe great work lives at the intersection of storytelling, design and emotion. Whether it’s a campaign, a brand film, a motion piece or an immersive digital experience, my focus is simple: create work that moves people. These days I also build brands and digital products of my own, right where creativity, technology and business meet.
